Fans of Queer Eye star Tan France know that the style guru, designer, and TV personality has an impeccable eye when it comes to fashion. It therefore comes as no surprise that his discerning point of view also translates to interior design and architecture—and that side passion is at the heart of a new video series from AD that launches today.
Called Home at Last with Tan France, the five-part series follows France as he undertakes the complete design and construction of his dream dwelling in Salt Lake City, Utah—which he describes as “his most personal project yet.” France and his husband, Rob, whose prior home in the area was captured by AD, worked with full-service design firm The Fox Group on every step of the family project. Each episode showcases the coming to life of a specific area in the 6,500-square-foot house, from the primary suite to the closet, guest house, kitchen and dining rooms, and outdoor area. Jump from design meetings, where Tan, Rob, and The Fox Group’s Tom and Cara Fox discuss details such as the wallpaper pattern and the couple’s preferred bathtub shape, to the construction site, where the striking structure in the mountains is starting to take shape.
On November 30, the very first episode launches on FAST TV and ArchDigest.com’s website. You can stream the FAST channel on Vizio WatchFree+ (Channel #592). Once a week, a new installment will drop—tune in to see the entire project go from the ground up.
