Since founding her eponymous design firm, Sara Story has forged a reputation for imparting to all of her projects an ineffable style she can truly call her own, drawing inspiration from extensive travels, an active interest in contemporary art and fashion, and a rigorous lifestyle. Always dynamic, the firm continues to work on residential and commercial projects worldwide, including Manhattan, the Hamptons, Miami, Palm Beach, Los Angeles, Austin, the Texas Hill County, Boulder and Aspen.Critical acclaim of her townhouse renovation at Gramercy Park propelled Story onto the design world's radar, and Elle Decor named her one of its Top 5 to Watch. NY Spaces named Story to its Top 50 Designers in New York, and in 2019, one of the firm’s residential projects was named to The 1stdibs 50, and as a finalist in Interior Design’s Best of the Year Awards. 2020 and 2022 saw the firm named to the LUXE Gold List.Story and her projects have also been recognized in Architectural Digest, Interior Design, Galerie, LUXE, Aspire, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times to name a few. Story's first monograph, The Art of Home, will be published by Rizzoli in September 2023.
