J Squared Home Designs is an award-winning design studio specializing in custom residential design and vacation rental design for investment properties. Our studio offers a turnkey design experience for our clients, including custom furnishings, drapery and window treatments, remodeling services, and white glove installation.

In the “new build” processes, our team is happy to work directly with our client’s home builder and architect to offer a seamless design process from blueprints to installation. Client-focused, elevated design is what sets us apart. We take our client’s lifestyle, preferences, and space into consideration to produce a unique, curated design through a collaborative process. Each client is unique, with specific preferences and expectations. We believe that a residence is a personal space that should reflect the homeowner. When applicable, we are happy to integrate family heirlooms and artwork into our design planning. Tucking antiques in amongst new furnishings gives a home depth and character.

J Squared Home Designs respects that each client has different expectations regarding the design process, and we can customize that experience for your needs. We work with clients who crave a collaborative partnership, we work with clients who want very little involvement in the design process as well as those who are somewhere in the middle.

While we are based in the Houston area, we have installed projects in Manhattan, New York, Bozeman, Montana, Los Angeles, California, and near Asheville, North Carolina. We are happy to travel to our clients for residential or investment design. We travel for design planning, and installation. Investment property planning requires commercial grade furnishings, and attention to longevity. We also offer to travel for clients purchasing properties with their realtors for private, or investment property selection. A designer’s input can be critical when selecting a property to renovate.
