About Architectural Digest

No, you do not need a subscription to read articles on AD. However if you would like to read unlimited articles, you will be asked to create an account.

General Subscription
A Digital-only subscription gives you unlimited access to ArchitecturalDigest.com including ADIY and Clever. A Print + Digital subscription includes unlimited digital access, plus the print edition, delivered to your door. Interested in AD PRO? Learn more about the benefits of an AD PRO membership.
After you purchase a subscription, you will be prompted to create a digital account.
A digital-only annual subscription is $39.99
The tote ships six to eight weeks after your payment is processed. International orders may take longer to ship, and packages may be delayed at customs. We regret that our staff cannot track tote bags after they enter the postal system.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.
Technical Troubleshooting
If you continue to hit the paywall after signing in, your subscription may have expired. You can sign into your account to confirm your account status under "Manage Account" If your subscription is inactive you can reactivate it under "Manage Account" or contact customer service for additional assistance.
If your subscription is already associated with an account, please sign in to that account. If you have trouble recalling which email address is associated with your subscription and you have further questions, please reach out to Customer Service by calling 1 855-205-0533 (+1 332-334-7834 if outside of the U.S.) or by emailing help@archdigest.com
You can manage your email preferences online at any time. Visit ArchitecturalDigest.com and select the profile icon in the top-right corner, select Newsletters, this will take you to the newsletter section, uncheck the box of any newsletter you would no longer like to receive. It may take up to forty-eight hours for your request to be processed.
If you have already unsubscribed and are still receiving unwelcome emails, please contact Customer Service.
You may not be signed in, which is often due to your browser’s cookies. Try opening your browser’s preferences (or settings) and deleting all of the cookies related to archive.architecturaldigest.com. You’ll then want to exit out of the browser, reopen it, and sign in again. Refreshing the page may also solve the problem.
Magazine Subscription
Yes, you can subscribe to receive AD If you live outside of the United States. Each issue may arrive up to two weeks after the cover date.
Yes, you can select “This is a gift” on our subscriptions page.
A Print + Digital subscription cost $49.99 a year.
We currently do not offer group subscriptions.
Yes, student and educator magazine subscriptions are available.
You will receive your first issue between three and six weeks after purchasing a magazine subscription. Each issue is published one week prior to the cover date, and most subscribers receive it a few days after publication. For subscribers outside of the United States, each issue may arrive up to two weeks after the cover date.
Before the start of each renewal, we will send you a reminder notice summarizing the details of your subscription, the rate you will be charged, and how to renew or cancel. If you have questions or need further assistance, you can contact Customer Service.
Once you have logged in, payment information and delivery addresses can be changed in the my account page under manage profile.
Please make sure that the address you entered is the exact address associated with your subscription. If you have a Canadian address, make sure to enter your postal code without any spaces.If you have questions or need further assistance, you can contact Customer Service.

You can cancel your subscription here. If you cancel your magazine subscription but are still receiving bills, please note that it takes a few days for a cancellation to become effective. If you purchased a subscription directly from Barnes & Noble, your access is limited to your Nook Color Tablet.
If you have an active AD subscription purchased directly from www.architecturaldigest.com, download the AD app and select “Sign In” or create an account from the Settings screen. If you are a subscriber but do not have an AD account, please create one and link your subscription. If you do not have an active AD subscription, please subscribe for unlimited access to the magazine.

AD PRO Directory
The new AD PRO Directory connects users with interior designers, architects, and other design professionals they can hire for their next project. To learn more, visit the AD PRO Directory. Interested in listing your own business? Find out about our membership & application process.
Within our Directory, we have a collection of design professionals ranging from building architects to interior designers. Each professional has been reviewed and approved by AD editors. If you would like to find out more about our design professionals you can browse the Directory
Designers build a profile for the Directory, which is submitted for review and approval by the AD editorial team. All design professionals on the Directory have paid membership fees to have their business listed.
Some design professionals are willing to work remotely, so try inquiring with businesses outside of your region if their services appeal to you. If you are looking for someone in your area, we are always looking to grow and expand our designer base, so please visit us again soon.
If you face an issue with a listed design professional, please contact Customer Service. We will look into your report and escalate it to the correct channels.
Please note that any contact you make with the individuals or businesses listed in the Directory, including any products or services you obtain from them, is done so entirely at your risk, and AD shall not be liable for any damages or service defects that may be sustained by you and/or your property arising from or in connection with you engaging any individual or business from the Directory.
Subscription Management
Magazine subscribers receive full magazine access on the Architectural Digest app at no extra charge. Not subscribed to the magazine? You can also purchase single issues within the Architectural Digest app.
Subscriptions are meant for individuals. If you are interested in sharing your subscription, we encourage you to consider a gift subscription.
You can log in and manage your account by clicking "manage account' under "My Account." This will provide you to access your account page. Your account page log-in information can be the same as your Architectural Digest.com log-in information, as they are separate.
Please sign in to manage your AD account information. This includes updating your password, billing, and payment information. Or you contact Customer Service directly for assistance.
You can’t pause your subscription at this time.
Log in using an email verification link, go to profile page, and look for ‘change password’. You will receive a ‘reset password’ link in your mailbox. From here you can create a ‘new password’.

You can also unsubscribe anytime by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our newsletters. Alternatively, you can manage your e-mail preferences on your profile page under my account. Please note that it may take up to 48 hours for your request to be processed.

Payment and Cancellations
Sign in to ArchitecturalDigest.com and visit the My Profile section of My Account, located in the top right corner, to manage your subscription. You can also cancel your subscription by calling Customer Service at 855-205-0533 or, 332-334-7834 if outside of the U.S.). Print subscribers, please call 800-365-8032 or +1-515-243-3273 if outside the U.S.
Please contact our Customer Service team to process a magazine subscription cancellation.
Sign in to ArchitecturalDigest.com and visit the My Profile section of My Account, located in the top right corner, to manage your subscription. An email confirmation of your cancellation will also be sent to you via email. If you do not receive this confirmation please contact customer care.
Although you can cancel at any time during your subscription, subscriptions are not refundable. You will continue to have access to ArchitecturalDigest.com until your next billing date.
If you subscribed through the AD app, you can cancel your subscription with Apple support or directly in the subscription settings of your Apple device. Your subscription will end on the last day of your term, and the autorenewal of the subscription will be canceled.
Your payment method will be charged as soon as your order is received. It may take up to three days for the charge to appear on your statement. Before the start of each renewal, we will send you a reminder notice summarizing the details of your subscription, the rate you will be charged, and how to renew or cancel
For print subscribers, cancellations are processed immediately, though you may receive one to two additional issues after ending your subscription. For digital subscriptions, your access will continue until the end of your current subscription after which the cancellation will take effect and no further charges will be made.
Contact Architectural Digest
To submit a design project for consideration, please send your submission as a PDF attachment to letters@archdigest.com with the words PROJECT SUBMISSION in the subject line. We do not consider work that has appeared elsewhere, print or digital. We read all submissions within 90 days, and will contact you if we’re interested in publishing your material. We do receive many projects, and unfortunately are unable to call or e-mail unless a project is accepted for publication. If you have not heard from us within 90 days, please assume that we will not be able to publish your project. Submissions sent by regular mail will not be returned, so please do not send original copies of your work.
All other submissions: We regret that we cannot consider unsolicited articles or other pitches at this time.
