The chance to own a record-setting property in a notable UAE metropolis has once again presented itself. According to Mansion Global, Dubai’s largest penthouse has just come to market, listing for a colossal $164 million (AED 600 million), which also make it among the most expensive properties for sale on the planet.
Following suit of other überluxe properties in the city, the massive penthouse is located on top of a luxury hotel—this time, Raffles The Palm Dubai. Spanning the top three floors of the branded residences, the home encompasses 77,707 square feet—over 20,000 square feet larger than the White House—and includes eight bedrooms. A handful of first-class amenities are also on site and include a gym, a cryogenic room (a type of wellness therapy the includes below-freezing temperatures), a relaxation room, an outdoor swimming pool, a bar and barbecue area, a meditation garden with a mini golf course, a basketball court, an indoor/outdoor theater, a cigar lounge, and 10 parking spots. Though the company did not share images of the interior, the penthouse is described as “flaunting a contemporary design with a dash of modernity and elegance.”
Dubai has seen a number of high-profile real estate offerings in recent months, including a $204 million home that listed in June of 2023 and two unbuilt penthouses that sold for $115 million and $136 million in July and December of 2023, respectively. Emerald Palace Group (EPG), the developers behind Dubai’s largest penthouse and owners of Raffle The Palm Dubai, hope that the sale of the massive home could mark another important highlight in the city's real estate offerings. “Our listing of this exceptional super-penthouse holds special significance, considering Dubai’s recent central positioning in the global real estate market and a growing demand for luxury properties by numerous ultra-high-net-worth individuals,” Seran Gheorghe, Vice President of EPG and Director of Sales for Raffles The Palm Dubai Residences, said in a statement. “We firmly believe that the sale of this lavish residence would mark another significant milestone in the history of Dubai real estate, and we look forward to further contributing to the sector’s growth.”
According to EPG, the home will be ready for its owner 15 months after it sells. Buyers will be able to customize the residence should they choose to include other amenities. Additionally, Raffles residence owners get access to exclusive services like a personal shopper, private chef, or florist, in addition to other resort offerings and restaurants. “Our super-penthouse is an embodiment of architectural grandeur and exclusivity,” Gheorghe added. “Transcending the ordinary, this remarkable penthouse seeks to provide an exceptional lifestyle that seamlessly combines elegance, convenience, and practicality.”
